Tinghrine: Between Ruins and Resilience
2024
In the Atlas Mountains, the small village of Tinghrine, located in the commune of Asni, saw its school collapse under the force of the 2024 earthquake. Where children’s laughter once echoed, only stones and the dust of silence remained.
Yet in the midst of this tragedy, a chain of solidarity emerged. In collaboration with Khalid, Zahira’s brother—the heroine of the feature film—and his local association, Generation Tinghrine, we chose to help the children dream again. We funded school scholarships for 26 children, ensuring that none would be forced to abandon their education, and provided direct support to 70 students through the distribution of clothing and school supplies.
This initiative, strengthened by the commitment of the entire village, helped restore educational continuity amid the ruins and uncertainty. In Tinghrine, children are gradually finding their way back to school, and with them, hope is returning—the hope of a future where education remains the most powerful form of rebuilding.

EDUCATIONAL VEGETABLE GARDEN
Our association supports the creation of an educational vegetable garden at the heart of the École de la 2e Chance Nouvelle Génération in Nouaceur, Casablanca, which has been welcoming young people since 2019.
Here, teenagers aged 14 to 18, embarking on a new chapter in their lives, are learning to believe in their talents again—many of them aspiring to careers in the culinary and hospitality industries.
From the very first plans for the site, the garden emerged as an essential part of the project: a living space where far more than fruits and vegetables are cultivated. Between its rows of soil and sunlight, it nourishes both body and mind, providing the centre with a measure of food self-sufficiency while supplying the cooking workshops with fresh produce grown through the students’ own dedication and hard work.
Here, every seed planted carries a promise: the promise of a future taking root.
