CONSTRUCTION OF THE NOSSIM SCHOOL

Jackson was one of the first children we supported with a scholarship in Kenya. At just 11 years old, he walked miles across the savanna to get to school. Thanks to his determination, he turned that journey into a true source of inspiration and eventually became a lawyer.

Driven by a desire to give back to his community, he decided to offer the children in his village the opportunity to access a quality education—by building the Nossim School.

Nossim School, which means “hope” in Maasai, opened its doors in February 2025 and now serves 110 children aged 4 to 8 in an environment tailored to their development and well-being.

The school, run by dedicated and qualified teachers, features well-equipped classrooms, a cafeteria providing a daily meal for students, an educational garden, and sanitary facilities ensuring optimal hygiene.

EDUCATIONAL VEGETABLE GARDEN

In an environment designed to foster the holistic development of Maasai children, Nossim School has established a school garden that is profoundly transforming their daily lives.

Here, children learn by working the land, develop a direct connection with their environment, and enjoy healthier food thanks to locally grown produce.

Far beyond the school, this project strengthens the entire community: families get involved, parents participate, and agricultural knowledge is passed down within the village. A vegetable garden that has become a true driver of sustainable change for Maasai children and communities.
